Who Are We?

As one of the most significant purchases we’ll ever make, a new home deserves to be the most exciting and enjoyable experience of our life. While owning a home should be simple and joyful, people’s best asset is their least supported and biggest headache.

Virtuo’s mission is to help new homeowners to quickly and effortlessly begin enjoying their homes, and continue enjoying them. When ownership decisions can be complex and overwhelming, Virtuo is the trusted unbiased guide to help make them faster.

Who You Are

You're an HR professional who thrives on execution and building strong team culture. You've managed recruitment, onboarding, and HR operations in fast-paced environments and know how to balance competing priorities while staying hands-on. You're equally comfortable executing day-to-day operations and identifying opportunities to streamline processes as the company scales.

Most importantly, you care deeply about creating an environment where people do their best work: where new hires ramp quickly, teams are engaged and connected to company goals, and employees feel genuinely supported throughout their journey.

What You'll Be Doing

Execute the people operations and culture initiatives that support Virtuo's growth. You'll ensure hiring moves efficiently, employees feel supported, and Virtuo's core values show up in everyday team interactions.

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for individual contributor and mid-level roles, partnering with hiring managers to source, screen, and close candidates.
  • Execute onboarding programs that help new hires ramp quickly, understand company values, and integrate into their teams effectively within their first 90 days.
  • Coordinate performance management processes including goal-setting, check-ins, and annual reviews that create accountability and align individual work to company objectives.
  • Plan and execute culture-building initiatives including team events, recognition programs, and rituals that reinforce the Virtuo vibe.
  • Support employee relations by addressing day-to-day concerns, facilitating conflict resolution, and escalating complex issues while maintaining compliance with company policies and employment laws.
  • Maintain people analytics dashboards tracking key metrics like attrition, time-to-fill, eNPS, and engagement trends to surface insights for leadership.
  • Own HR systems and tools ensuring data accuracy, process efficiency, and positive employee experience with HR technology.
  • Support the administration of payroll processing and compliance, including monitoring employee balances and accruals for sick time, statutory leaves, and other applicable PTO policies.
  • Serve as benefits administrator managing enrollment, claims support, vendor relationships, and employee communications.

How You'll Be Measured

  • First-Year Attrition Rate
  • Aggregate Turnover Rate
  • Onboarding Completion Rate

What We're Looking For

  • 3-5 years in HR generalist or people operations roles with hands-on experience across recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations
  • Experience in high-growth startups, scale-ups, or fast-paced environments (20-100 employee range preferred)
  • Direct experience managing full-cycle recruiting for multiple roles simultaneously
  • Background coordinating or implementing performance management and employee engagement programs
  • Experience operating within HRIS systems (Rippling or similar)
  • Experience with benefits administration

What We Offer

  • Competitive base salary
  • Paid vacation
  • Comprehensive health benefits
  • Work-life balance
  • Energized and collaborative work environment
