The role:
We’re on a mission to drive digital transformation within our organization by enhancing productivity, optimizing data accessibility, and streamlining operations through effective system integrations and cloud-based solutions. We’re seeking a technically skilled professional who can take an active role in managing and improving our SaaS portfolio and cloud infrastructure, as our IT Systems Architect. This role, reporting to our National Director & CIO, will ensure seamless integration, robust security, and operational efficiency, empowering our teams to leverage technology in support of our strategic goals.
Key responsibilities:
Digital transformation (30%)
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand needs and align system capabilities with organizational goals, especially for digital transformation initiatives.
- Identify and implement automation and AI-driven solutions to streamline workflows, reduce manual tasks, enhance data accuracy, and provide predictive insights.
- Drive security and compliance standards across platforms, ensuring data protection.
- Lead training initiatives and change management for team members to maximize adoption and effective usage of SaaS tools.
Integrations (30%)
- Evaluate and manage the SaaS portfolio, consolidating tools where feasible to improve efficiency and integration.
- Design and oversee integrations across systems (CRM, data platforms, and SaaS) to build a cohesive, unified ecosystem.
- Administer and optimize Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and other cloud platforms, ensuring accessibility, efficiency, and security.
- Engage and manage vendor partnerships to support system enhancements and integrations.
Data and analysis (25%)
- Utilize BigQuery, SQL, and other tools to manage data flows, support data warehousing, and ensure accessible, real-time data for decision-making.
- Continuously monitor and optimize system performance, providing insights and suggesting improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, integrations, and processes to facilitate continuity and knowledge-sharing.
Support & operational excellence (15%)
- Provide system support and troubleshooting for team inquiries and ensure smooth operation of integrated platforms.
- Oversee technology adoption efforts to support organization-wide technology use.
- Monitor operational processes and work with stakeholders to optimize workflows and reduce friction.
- Document best practices, processes, and configurations to ensure sustainable and efficient operations.
Ideal candidate:
As the IT Systems Architect, you’ll be instrumental in managing, integrating, and optimizing our suite of SaaS tools and cloud infrastructure. This hands-on role demands technical expertise in systems administration, integration, and project management, with a deep understanding of Google Workspace, GCP, and Microsoft environments. You will play a critical role in identifying opportunities for automation, optimizing system performance, and supporting cross-functional initiatives to align technology solutions with business needs. Collaborating with internal teams and external vendors, you’ll ensure our technology ecosystem continually evolves to support our digital transformation objectives, enhance data accessibility, and drive efficiency across all operations.
Core competencies and experience:
- Seven+ (7) years of experience in IT, with a minimum of three (3) years experience and visible growth in a similar role.
- Proven experience in Google Workspace Administration, Microsoft 365 Administration, Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, SQL, and CRM systems.
- SQL Proficiency: Ability to write and optimize SQL queries for data manipulation and reporting.
- Exposure to data visualization or BI tools (such as Looker, Sisense, Preset)
- Practical experience with API development, middleware tools, and integration platforms (like Zapier, Workato, or MuleSoft) for more complex cross-system connections.
- Strong understanding of security practices for cloud and SaaS environments.
- Demonstrated experience in systems architecture, with a focus on digital transformation.
- Working understanding of CRM systems like Salesforce, Freshdesk, Freshsales, and HubSpot.
- Demonstrated experience integrating SaaS tools and platforms, with knowledge of APIs and common integration practices.
- Experience in managing or participating in digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Experience working with or deploying AI technologies is considered an asset

Compensation and benefits:
- Salary range $90,000 - $100,000 annually, based on skills and experience required for the role
