The Regional Account Executive (RAE) reports to and is responsible for working directly with the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to drive strategy, planning and sales execution, while delivering client satisfaction to channel partners, channel sales accounts and direct end user accounts within the assigned territory. The RAE will drive market share and revenue growth through pipeline development and closing activities with our channel partners and our direct sales accounts. This role is specifically suited for those interested in a role that provides career growth opportunities in sales.

The Regional Account Executive (RAE) reports to and is responsible for working directly with the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to drive strategy, planning and sales execution, while delivering client satisfaction to channel partners, channel sales accounts and direct end user accounts within the assigned territory. The RAE will drive market share and revenue growth through pipeline development and closing activities with our channel partners and our direct sales accounts. Responsibilities
- Help manage and grow partner and customer relationships within the territory.
- Create and execute an innovative joint business plan with the RSM to target our strategic partner and channel community to meet and exceed assigned quota.
- Cultivate pipeline and execute sales.
- Provide technical and administrative product information and demonstrations to partners and/or potential customers.
- Represent Vigilent at customer & partner meetings, trade shows, events and conferences.
- Work with partners to ensure customer satisfaction and establish reference customers.
- Accurately forecast pipeline development (weekly, monthly and quarterly).
- Maintain timely and accurate data and records in Salesforce.
- Engage with cross-functional resources including: Operations, Engineering, Marketing, and Management to drive Vigilent sales.
- Provide feedback to team on market and industry trends, competitive data and solution requirements.
- 50% Travel is required and may include international travel.
- Education – Mechanical engineering degree preferred or industry specific experience.
- 2+ years in channel / partner enterprise solutions sales, preferably in HVAC solutions or BMS/DCIM software.
- English fluency
- Proven track record of high goal achievement and revenue building required.
- Entrepreneurial thinking is a must.
- Energetic, self-starter motivated to take initiative to perform outlined responsibilities.
- An established skill set in account acquisition, and solution/relationship sales, with proven history of performance in developing and cultivating a strong pipeline in new markets, especially in a channel role.
- Comfortable applying business acumen and financial expertise to identify and qualify opportunities.

Salary: Base salary range $65,000-$85,000 + Commission
