Role Summary

Trexity is hiring Neighbourhood Reps to introduce Trexity to businesses across Ottawa, in person, one door at a time. You’ll walk an assigned area of the city, stop in at the businesses we’ve targeted, and start the conversation that gets them delivering with us. You’re comfortable walking into a business cold, you keep going after the fifth no, and you’re on your feet and outside most of the day. There’s nowhere to hide.

What You’ll Own

• Walk an assigned area of the city and stop in at the businesses we’ve targeted, based on the industries and business types we give you
• Introduce Trexity, find out whether the business delivers or wants to, and answer basic questions about how it works
• Follow up in person with merchants who have received a Love Drop from us

What Success Looks Like

• Targeted businesses in your area have heard about Trexity from you in person
• Businesses you bring in complete their first delivery
• Love Drop merchants get an in-person follow-up

Skills

• Comfortable walking into a business cold and starting a conversation
• Keeps going after the fifth no
• Clear, friendly, professional in person
• Organized enough to keep an accurate record of every stop
• Lives in Ottawa and knows the city
• Able to be on your feet, outside, in all weather for most of a shift

Compensation

Base pay: $22 CAD/hour plus $100 for every business you bring in that completes its first delivery

About the Team

Trexity partners with local businesses to power same-day delivery, connecting them with a network of couriers who get orders to customers fast. Neighbourhood Reps are where many of those relationships start. You’re the first person from Trexity a business owner meets, working alongside our sales and marketing teams to get us in front of the businesses we want to reach. This is a new approach for Trexity, starting with a small team in Ottawa, and your feedback will help shape how we take it to other cities.
