Role Description
We are looking for professionals with a counselling/psychotherapy qualification and a keen interest in supporting safe online communities to join our global Trust and Safety team to deliver clinical administration, support and real time escalation across our platforms. This includes support for students and employees.
This would be an ideal role for a freelance/self employed clinician looking for some additional hours outside of their typical therapeutic practice.
The Clinical Administrator plays a key role in supporting the safety, wellbeing, and engagement of users across TalkLife, TalkLife Workplace and TalkCampus platforms. This role is responsible for responding to risk incidents out of office hours, in line with established clinical procedures, and ensuring timely escalation where called upon.
As a clinical administrator your role will involve reviewing, assessing and acting on content across our platforms with a focus on content that is broadly defined as ‘higher risk’- typically content discussing suicide and self harm.
Skills and Experience:
- Have a masters level clinical qualification and be registered with a relevant professional body e.g. BACP, HCPC or equivalent.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Have experience of managing risk and working safely within risk escalation policies and procedures, and transfer of care.
- Have a good knowledge of the factors that increase suicide risk and the factors that protect people from suicide.
- Have knowledge of how peer support and inclusivity in communities supports wellbeing and resilience
- Have the ability to foster inclusive and welcoming online environments for people from diverse backgrounds.
- Have the ability to maintain excellent boundaries, ensure consistency of practice and follow our policies and procedures without deviation
- Have a strong grasp of technology and be comfortable working in an online environment and interacting with users online via written messaging
- Be able to stay calm under pressure, make clear decisions and confidently follow risk procedures
- Be resilient and have the capacity to encounter graphic and high risk content.
