Position

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Nutritionist with over 4 years of hands-on experience in clinical or community nutrition to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this role, you will lead comprehensive nutritional assessments, design personalized wellness plans, and collaborate closely with interdisciplinary providers to enhance our members’ access to nutrition, education, and overall wellness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth evaluations of clients' dietary needs by assessing their medical history, activity levels, sleep patterns, and food habits.
  • Educate clients on the impact of nutrition on health, providing evidence-based guidance and practical recommendations.
  • Design and deliver customized nutrition plans tailored to individual goals, medical conditions, and dietary restrictions.
  • Offer ongoing nutrition counseling and behavior-change support to clients to ensure goal attainment and adherence.
  • Track and document client progress, modifying plans as needed and maintaining comprehensive and confidential records.
  • Develop and present nutrition-related educational content, including brochures, newsletters, and webinars.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other allied health professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
  • Stay abreast of the latest research and trends through continuing education and professional development.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or Food Science (Master’s degree is an asset).
  • 4+ years of experience in clinical, community, or corporate nutrition settings.
  • Full registration with the College of Dietitians of British Columbia (CDBC).
  • Specialization in diabetes care and/or clinical weight loss management is considered an asset.
  • Completion of an accredited dietetic internship program (Dietitians of Canada or equivalent).
  • Licensed or certified to practice as a dietitian/nutritionist in applicable jurisdictions.
  • Proficient in Nutritionist Pro or equivalent nutrition software.
  • Strong knowledge of nutritional models and experience working with a range of dietary needs.
  • Specialized understanding of diabetic nutrition is considered a strong asset.
  • Excellent communication, motivational interviewing, and client education skills.

The annual compensation is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and alignment to the market.

Status: Full Time

Location: Hybrid / Remote

Office Hours: 40 hours per week
