Pinova Therapeutics is developing a price-competitive intranasal delivery system using our proprietary nasal swab. Our lead candidate, NAXVY, is an over-the-counter naloxone nasal swab. Naloxone works by blocking the effects of opioids and is the standard emergency treatment for opioid overdoses. NAXVY produces 74% higher exposure 2.5 minutes after dosing, when compared to the leading opioid reversal nasal spray, NARCAN. We have a fully automated manufacturing line that can produce up to 3 million units annually. Most importantly, our proprietary swab technology is broadly applicable and can be easily adapted for the nasal delivery of other drugs.
