Timing: Full-time role starting as soon as possible. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
About the role
At Plentify, we aspire for our operations to be as smart and technology-enabled as our products. By doing this, we can enable a high quality and repeatable customer experience, and drive down costs as we scale.
As the Product Manager: Internal Operations, you will:
- Build the Internal Operations technology roadmap: deeply immerse yourself in our operations, conduct research with our operations team and third party contractors, set strategic objectives, and build a roadmap to achieve them. This will be focused primarily on our CRM, workflow integrations and automations, e-commerce platform, and custom-developed internal tools.
- Manage the roadmap: prioritise features based on business needs, strategic objectives and resource availability. Get stakeholder buy-in of the roadmap and keep stakeholders informed on progress.
- Execute the roadmap: working closely with a dedicated senior engineer, and pulling on other resources as required, build out the roadmap.
- Track performance: define success metrics for strategic objectives and each feature, and establish the tooling and processes to track, report on, and learn from these metrics.
- Launch products and features: plan, communicate and execute the launch of products and features to the team. Train internal users and provide support for a successful rollout.
- Manage the budget: define and manage the product budget for tools and services required to execute on the roadmap.

We’ll think you’ll love this role if you:
- Love transforming complexity into simplicity with a combination of thoughtful process design and application of technology
- Want to design and build a technology-forward operation to enable a rapidly scaling business
- Care about making a meaningful impact on South African homes and the broader electricity system
- Want equity in the business you are helping to build
