As an Accounts Payable Associate, you’ll be at the heart of Zendesk’s fast-paced finance operations, ensuring that all invoices and expenses are processed with accuracy, care, and integrity. Using modern digital tools, you’ll help vendors, business partners, and your colleagues get what they need—while learning how AI and automation make finance smarter every day.

What you’ll be doing

  • Support the review, entry, and processing of both PO and non-PO invoices in Coupa, ensuring accurate coding and compliance with Zendesk policies and regulatory standards.

  • Manage, input, and perform daily clean up of assigned invoices and items in the AP ticket & Coupa queue to ensure efficient processing.

  • Organize, file, and maintain physical invoices and employee reimbursement records for the Philippine entity, ensuring all statutory documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with local requirements.

  • Use digital and AI-powered solutions as part of your day-to-day work, reviewing extracted data, flagging discrepancies, and identifying opportunities to improve accuracy.

  • Respond promptly and professionally to internal and external inquiries, delivering friendly, customer-first service.

  • Work with your team to research and resolve invoice exceptions, discrepancies, or missing information to ensure timely and accurate resolution.

  • Participate in process improvement initiatives by sharing ideas, feedback, or observations that help make our accounts payable workflows smarter and more efficient.

  • Support regular reconciliations, audit activities, and vendor account updates as needed.

  • Keep sensitive information secure and handle all transactions with integrity.

  • Stay engaged with new technology and process improvements through ongoing learning opportunities.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in accounts payable, finance, or a related field.

  • Familiarity with a finance/ERP system (Coupa, Netsuite, or similar is a plus).

  • Willingness to learn and use AI-powered and digital finance tools in daily work.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace applications.

  • English fluency (written and spoken).

  • Willingness to work in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig City 2x in a week.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with invoice entry and/or expense report processing.

  • Prior exposure to AI-powered automation or digital tools in a finance, operational, or academic setting.

  • Strong customer service experience or mindset.

  • Background in SaaS, high-growth, or tech-driven companies; experience with global entities is a plus.

Hybrid: In this role, our hybrid experience is designed at the team level to give you a rich onsite experience packed with connection, collaboration, learning, and celebration - while also giving you flexibility to work remotely for part of the week. This role must attend our local office for part of the week. The specific in-office schedule is to be determined by the hiring manager.
