The Zendesk Unified Analytics group is at the forefront of transforming customer experience data into actionable insights with innovative products like Explore and HyperARC. Our Vega team is seeking a dedicated and innovative Engineering Manager to support a full-stack team of engineers. As a member of the Vega team, you will play a crucial role in driving the development of our advanced analytics solutions, ensuring they provide unparalleled insights and intelligence to our clients.
As the Engineering Manager, you will lead a diverse team in building solutions that empower businesses with comprehensive reporting and analytics tools. Your expertise will guide the team in developing products that leverage AI tools to enhance data-driven decision-making. What you will be doing:
Lead and mentor a cross-functional full-stack team of 6-10 engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Drive the development of our advanced analytics solutions (HyperArc, Explore), which currently serve thousands of end-users
Support the team's efforts in integrating advanced AI tools and analytics capabilities into our products.
Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing, encouraging your team to explore and adopt new technologies and methodologies.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders and other engineering teams within the Zendesk Unified Analytics group to align on product vision and goals.
Advocate for best practices in software development, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability of the codebase.
Ensure transparent communication across teams and departments, facilitating alignment and understanding of goals and objectives.
What you bring to the role:
Proven experience in managing full-stack engineering teams, ideally in the analytics or data-driven product domain.
Strong background in reporting and analytics, with experience in integrating and using AI tools considered a plus.
Technical fluency in a modern full-stack environment, including deep expertise in front-end technologies (JavaScript, React) and experience with backend languages (Java, Ruby) and distributed systems.
Exceptional leadership and mentorship skills, with the ability to inspire and develop engineering talent.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The Poland annualized base salary range for this position is zł324,000.00-zł486,000.00. Please note that while the salary range represents the minimum and maximum base salary rate for this position, the actual compensation offered will be based on job related capabilities, applicable experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for bonus, benefits, or related incentives that will be communicated during the offer stage.Hybrid: In this role, our hybrid experience is designed at the team level to give you a rich onsite experience packed with connection, collaboration, learning, and celebration - while also giving you flexibility to work remotely for part of the week. This role must attend our local office for part of the week. The specific in-office schedule is to be determined by the hiring manager.
