Lead Brand Designer (Contract)

Key responsibilities:
Events Design
- Design and maintain visual style guide and system for events, including trade shows, conferences, and company events.
- Design eye-catching booth graphics, banners, signage, and promotional materials for events.
- Develop creative concepts for interactive displays and presentations at events.
Marketing & Sales Collateral Design
- Design and maintain visual style guide and system for sales/marketing materials, including product demos & prototypes utilized by our Growth Team.
- Produce a wide range of print and digital materials including, but not limited to: clickable product prototypes, pitch decks, brochures, datasheets, trade show graphics, newsletters, and screen displays.
- Ensure mockups are pixel-perfect prior to development / pre-pro handoff. (Annotations a must).
- Help maintain a high level of visual fidelity across all work.
Asset Management & Production
- Manage internal Creative Services assets, including image/file cataloging, archiving, and posting final files to network and online storage locations.
- Manage production of assigned materials; including getting print bids and coordinating with outside vendors as needed.
About you:
- 8+ years of professional design experience.
- BA or BFA in design or design-related field preferred, but not required
- Design Leadership: Proven track record of leading design projects from ideation to successful launch, utilizing a design thinking approach to solve complex problems creatively.
- Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills, capable of articulating design concepts persuasively to both leadership and stakeholders. Foster a collaborative environment, effectively partnering with cross-functional teams (designers, PMs, executives) to ensure alignment and achieve project goals.
- Technical Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of Figma for rapid prototyping, coupled with mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop). Familiarity with front-end development, and video editing is a distinct advantage.
- Presentation & Detail Orientation: Adept at crafting impactful Google Slides presentations that clearly convey ideas. Demonstrated passion for precision and detail, producing pixel-perfect mockups that elevate the user experience.
- Proactive & Adaptable: Self-motivated and driven to push boundaries, consistently seeking opportunities to innovate and improve. Thrives in a dynamic environment with evolving requirements
Security-related responsibilities
- Compliance with Information Security Policies
- Compliance with League’s secure coding practice
- Responsibility and accountability for executing League's policies and procedures
- Notification of HR, Legal, Compliance & Security of any incidents, breaches or policy violations

This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for base salaries for the position across all Canadian locations. Where in the band you may land is determined by job-related skills/experience.
