Senior HR Specialist
KODE Labs
Job Description
About KODE Labs
KODE Labs is building the operating system for the built world. We're transforming how buildings operate, making them more intelligent, efficient, and sustainable at scale. Since 2017, we've partnered with some of the world's largest real estate portfolios to deliver measurable energy savings and operational excellence. But we're just getting started.
The smart buildings industry needs bold thinking and better solutions. We're here to set the standard: moving fast, building fearlessly, and proving what's possible when technology meets infrastructure. At KODE, results speak louder than titles, and every person drives meaningful impact.
The Opportunity
As a Senior HR Specialist, you’ll be the force multiplier for our people systems. You’ll own full-cycle hiring for critical roles, help design and run various L&D programs that level up skills, and keep the HR engine humming across onboarding, HRIS hygiene, benefits coordination, and policy execution. You won’t sit on the sidelines; you’ll help us build, ship, and iterate the programs that attract, grow, and retain top talent.
Requirements
Own full-cycle hiring for various roles across the company, while also helping drive sourcing strategies, interviewer training, candidate experience, and bar-raising calibration.
Design role-based learning paths, organize workshops, curate external courses and track impact with completion and skill metrics.
Partner with team leaders and managers to tackle people matters, using people analytics to inform proactive plans that keep high-performing teams aligned and innovative.
Keep HRIS data clean, support benefits coordination, maintain policy docs, and ensure compliant files and processes across locations.
Build simple toolkits (goal setting, feedback, performance check-ins) and help coach managers on hiring and development practices.
Contribute to engagement, recognition, and performance cycles with clear timelines and communications.
Work with the HR team to report on people analytics for various metrics and collaborate on strategic initiatives and building scalable processes, from compliance programs to employee experience enhancements.
Benefits
5+ years of experience in HR roles, dealing with recruitment, process development, L&D and engagement in high-growth, mission-driven companies
Experience in designing and implementing L&D programs and performance management processes
Enthusiastic about people and creating a positive experience for others
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-savvy mindset for turning metrics into actionable strategies
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in less-structured, fast-evolving scenarios, prioritizing what moves the mission forward.
High integrity and a commitment to ethical and compliant HR practices
Sound judgment and discretion handling sensitive information
Proactive and curious, with a drive to take initiative, improve processes, and learn relentlessly—always questioning how we can build better.
