Summary

As a Health Care Aide, you will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private homes. Reporting to the nursing staff or care manager, your primary role will involve delivering compassionate caregiving, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring the comfort and safety of those in your care. Your expertise in patient care, senior care, and dementia care will be invaluable, while your skills in meal preparation, medication administration, and maintaining a clean environment will enhance the quality of life for individuals with diverse needs. Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance to patients in various settings, including assisted living and nursing homes.
• Support daily living activities such as meal preparation, cleaning, and medication administration.
• Assist individuals with disabilities and those suffering from dementia or other health conditions.
• Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for seniors and hospice patients, promoting their dignity and well-being.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in caregiving and patient care
• Familiarity with assisted living and senior care environments
• Knowledge of hospice care and working with persons with disabilities
• Experience in dementia care and home care settings
• Ability to perform cleaning, meal preparation, and medication administration
• Physical capability for heavy lifting and assisting patients as needed

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
