Key Responsibilities
- Provide assistance within the lean ICT Team for day to day support activities
- Maintain Infrastructure support ServiceDesk and individual (Internal) ServiceDesk task queues
- Administer and maintain Microsoft 365 and Office 365 environments including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and Intune
- Manage endpoint provisioning for a globally distributed workforce across Windows, macOS, and Linux
- Maintain Active Directory and Azure AD, SSO, and identity and access management (IAM)
- Support Ansible based configuration management and infrastructure as code practices
- Administer and monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure), including compute, storage, and networking
- Support CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with engineering teams using Atlassian Bitbucket and Jira
- Administer Server and Service Backups local and remote
- Enforce endpoint security policies, patch management, and vulnerability remediation
- Support data security practices for sensitive geospatial and LiDAR data assets
- Maintain, and support BCP/DR frameworks
- Enforce business directives around Cyber Security frameworks
- Maintain VPN infrastructure for remote teams and field operatives
- Support network configuration for Brisbane HQ and remote sites
- Administer HubSpot, M365 Environment, and collaboration platforms
- Support software licensing, procurement, and vendor management
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 helpdesk support for a technically sophisticated user base
Required Skills and Experience
- 3 to 5 or more years in a Systems Administrator or ICT Operations role, ideally in a tech scale up or engineering led company
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure AD and modern endpoint management (Intune/MDM)
- Proficiency in Linux administration, critical given Emesent’s use of Linux across operating systems and languages such as Bash, Python, and C/C++
- Hands on experience with Ansible or similar configuration management tools
- Networking fundamentals: DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and basic DevOps tooling
- Scripting ability in Bash or Python and PowerShell for automation
- Experience in an aerospace, robotics, or deep tech environment
- Exposure to IoT or embedded systems ICT support
- Familiarity with Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) administration
- Understanding of data security requirements for geospatial or sensitive industrial data
