We are seeking an ambitious and driven Sales Director to support our US expansion. As Clinia rapidly grows as a leading provider of health-grade search solutions for enterprises, this pivotal role will be central to expand our presence south of the border.
What are we looking for?
A motivated and dynamic Sales Director who wants to be part of the scaling phase of a startup, with passion and a collaborative nature to achieve our ambitious goals. As our first dedicated sales person in the US, you will play a key role in generating interest and setting the stage for successful sales engagements for Clinia. You will also play a vital role in providing feedback to the leadership team and helping design our ideal Go-To-Market strategies. This pivotal role will be central to expanding our presence and driving our growth in the US market.
Your role
Up until today, our US sales efforts have mainly been handled by the CEO and CTO. Your role will be to expand on our existing pipeline, find new opportunities and build our business development processes. The ideal candidate will be a results-driven individual with a track record of proven success in enterprise B2B tech sales, from prospecting to negotiating complex deals in new logo customer accounts.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and execute a US sales plan, starting with identifying and prioritizing ideal customers for Clinia’s offerings
- Execute a multi-channel prospecting plan including the development of outreach material aligned for different use-cases and personas
- Find, qualify and progress a robust pipeline of qualified leads to ensure consistent opportunities
- Identify, access, develop and nurture strong relationships with prospects as a credible trusted advisor, generating passionate Clinia customer advocates
- Manage all steps of the sales cycle from initial conversations through proposal generation, negotiation, due diligence, implementation and go-to-market of our solutions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM, tracking all interactions and progress
- Represent the company at various functions such as conferences, tradeshows, webinars, etc
- Stay informed and provide feedback regarding industry trends, competitors, and market conditions
In terms of skills, you should have:
- Proven track record with sales experience in a SAAS environment, ideally providing infrastructure to firms that are building their own internal or externally facing solutions
- Experience operating in a high-performing environment with a consistent track record of overachievement against quota
- Track record of new logo acquisition in complex organizations
- Exceptional sales acumen, ideally leveraging a sales methodology (MEDDPICC, Sandler, Force Management)
- Ability to sell to multiple personas at a customer account, ideally including CTO, Head of Product, and Architects
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Highly collaborative with your peers and leadership
- Knowledge of the healthcare industry is an asset
